In 2024 and 2025, cultural platform "We are Public" ran a campaign to protest a proposed law that would have raised tax on cultural activities and books in the Netherlands.
I made these digital cutout animations for the campaign
I edited press photos of the 4 political leaders to make them look more like newspaper cuttings.
Then I cut out their romp, head, eyes and chin, and used these to create digital puppets in After Effects.
The campaign worked, and the tax level was kept as it was!
