"No Love is Wrong" follows a single summer day in a park and the warm, accepting feelings that float around there. Our goal was to create feelings of acceptance, warmth and joy in the viewer. We used lots of different materials, from watercolour to oil pastel to blow pens.
We start with exploration sketches. This helps us develop the theme and storyline of the video, try out different styles and materials and create some early ideas for possible shotsÂ
Based on these exploration sketches and feedback from our client, we create character designs (left) to have a clear idea of how the people in this world will look, and thumbnails (below) to explore more possibilities for scenes and compositions.
